In a colourful and heartwarming celebration held yesterday, Ika South Local Government Area joined millions across the country to commemorate Children’s Day 2025, reaffirming its dedication to nurturing and empowering the next generation.
The event, which took place at the Government Field, College Junction, Agbor, Delta State, was graced by the Executive Chairman of Ika South LGA, Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, accompanied by his dear wife and other dignitaries, including top local government officials, traditional leaders, educators, and community stakeholders. The day was dedicated to honouring the voices, dreams, and rights of children, who represent the hope and promise of our future.
In his address, Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior emphasized the importance of investing in children through quality education, healthcare, and moral guidance. He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to building a secure and enabling environment for every child in Ika South to thrive.
