In a move underscoring his administration’s dedication to sustainable infrastructure development, the Executive Chairman of Ika South Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, yesterday conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing construction of the link road with dual drainage leading to the Edike Bridge across the Orogodo River in Agbor.
The inspection is part of a broader effort by the Chairman’s administration to ensure that the project meets the highest standards and is completed in a timely manner. The link road, once completed, will significantly enhance mobility in the area, prevent erosion, and improve access across the river.
Chairman Ehiwarior reaffirmed his commitment to delivering people-oriented projects that will improve the lives of residents. He assured the public that the local government will continue to monitor the project closely to ensure its successful completion.
“This administration is committed to making the area around the bridge motorable and erosion-free,” he stated. “We will not relent until this vision is fully realized.”
This inspection visit is yet another indication that #JerryIsHere and development is no longer a promise — it’s a reality in motion under the current leadership.
